THE DYING BREED OF DAYTIME RADIO STATIONS!

I found out a few days ago that WAGL-AM in Lancaster, South Carolina is no longer broadcasting.  The owner passed away back a few years ago.  Looks like daytime only radio stations are either closing up or going 24/7 on limited night time power.  WNTN in Newton broadcasts 24 hours a day, but only with 3 watts at night.  And I hear that a radio station in Allentown, Pa. will begin broadcasting on FM translators this December(just in time for Christmas).  It seems that the FCC wants to revive the AM band by giving radio stations on the dying AM band a group of FM translators.

Well, looks like the AM band is going to be revitalized, but I don't think it's gonna fly.  Too many people are listening on the internet, so there.

By the way, I hope you guys aren't listening to internet radio at work because it's frowned on by bosses.  It's gotten me into trouble at work.
